Growing Minds and Growing Spaces – Welcome to the Brand-New BBMA Ballentine!

Our Big Blue Marble Academy family is growing again with our newest school, BBMA Ballentine. Located at 1194 Dutch Fork Road in Irmo, we’ve officially opened our doors to new families and their young learners so we can provide more communities with the BBMA experience.

This year, 94% of BBMA Pre-K students met or exceeded kindergarten readiness benchmarks across all five key developmental areas: language and literacy, cognitive development, social-emotional learning, physical development, and approaches to learning.

These results are the BBMA standard, and it’s why thousands of families across the country are entrusting us with their young learners.

What makes us unique?

Unique Research-Based Curriculum – Our Passport to Learning curriculum builds critical thinking skills, while providing students with the building blocks needed to meet all of their developmental milestones – cognitive, physical, and social. Plus, it’s play-based and explorative design helps us to fill each day in our caring classroom environments with learning and fun, while also helping students better understand the world around them.

Inviting Schools and Spacious Classrooms – With 94 locations across the country, we know how to create an environment that makes students to feel comfortable and have fun. We’ve designed our new Ballentine school to be bright and engaging to encourage our students to
explore, be curious and learn. With expansive spaces for play, both indoors and outdoors, all BBMA students have access to the age-appropriate equipment they need to have fun and be active each day.

Compassionate Staff and Convenient Care – While students are in our care, families can feel confident that their children are receiving the best care possible. With programs for ages 6 weeks to 5 years, our certified teachers have the skills and dedication to help children grow and develop.

For families with older children up to age 12, we offer after school care with planned activities and homework assistance so you can spend more time together as a family in the evenings. BBMA Ballentine is open from 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, to accommodate working parents and their busy schedules. Along with our parent communication app, our team works diligently to feel like an extension of your family so you can focus on work while you’re away.
