Four is an exciting age! You’ll see growth in everything your child does. Your child’s teacher becomes a trusted facilitator, supporting them as they build confidence, ask big questions, share ideas, and explore the world with growing independence and curiosity. Through purposeful play, rich conversation, and hands-on experiences, our program helps your child connect what they already know to exciting new discoveries, building the thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

Four is the year your child truly finds their voice. Through conversations, books, songs, and writing experiences, your child will become a confident communicator who loves telling stories, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing their ideas, all while expanding their vocabulary, writing more letters, recognizing words, and discovering how spoken and written language connect.
At four, math becomes more meaningful and exciting for your child, and it shows in everything they do. Through hands-on play and problem-solving, your child will learn to count more accurately, recognize numbers, compare quantities, explore patterns and shapes, and develop foundational mathematical thinking that supports future learning.
Four is the year your child steps into their role as a true investigator who is curious, observant, and eager to figure out how things work. Your child explores nature, experiments with materials, and discusses their discoveries. Your child also begins to make predictions, notice patterns, and describe the changes they see in the world around them with growing confidence and wonder.
At four, your child’s friendships deepen, and their emotional world grows richer by the day. Through guided experiences and supportive relationships, your child will practice cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution. Your child develops the self-confidence and emotional understanding that will shape the way they connect with others for years to come.
Four is the year your child begins to truly understand their place in the world and embraces it with open arms. Through conversations, stories, and shared experiences, your child explores how people live, work, and celebrate together in their classroom, in your family, and in the wider community, and learns to appreciate the similarities and differences that make the world special.
At four, your child grows stronger, more coordinated, and more capable every day. As their hand strength and motor control continue to develop, your child gains confidence to use writing tools, draw recognizable shapes and letters, cut shapes, create artwork with greater precision, and complete detailed tasks with more focus and skill.
Your child’s creativity is in full bloom as they use their imagination in new and exciting ways. Through storytelling, music, art, and movement, your child will experiment with materials, express their ideas and emotions with growing confidence, and share their unique perspective.
Your four-year-old is evolving with a whole new level of curiosity, focus, and determination. By planning their play, exploring new ideas, and persisting through challenges, your child will build confidence in their ability to learn, problem-solve, and take on whatever the day brings.
