Choosing the best children’s books is a nearly impossible task; the more I researched, spoke to experts and recalled all of the wonderful books I read as a child and in my career as an English teacher, the more difficult it became to narrow down the list. To help, I spoke to three teachers, two librarians and a vice president of curriculum and education.
