Big Blue Marble Academy Unveils New Location in Madison, Alabama
We are excited to announce the opening of our newest location: Big Blue Marble Academy Capshaw at 1854 Balch Road in Madison, Alabama! This marks our eighth location in Alabama and our second in the wonderful Madison community! Our doors officially open for interested families on June 17.

Brand-New Facility Fosters Learning and Active Play
This beautiful, brand-new school features 11 spacious classrooms, allowing for ample space for students to explore, collaborate and express their curiosity. The school also features an expansive outdoor playground, with appropriate equipment for all age groups to encourage active and safe play to help get the wiggles out!
Play-Based Curriculum with a Global Perspective
Serving students as young as six weeks through kindergarten, BBMA provides more than just childcare. Our experienced and caring staff help nurture little minds through our global Passport to Learning curriculum, which combines best practices in early childhood education with a play-based approach that ignites a love of learning and discovery for all ages. Together, we explore the world, celebrate creativity, and develop both cognitive and social skills — all while ensuring kindergarten readiness.
Supportive School-Age Care
BBMA also offers convenient before- and after-school care for school-age students ages 5-12 attending local elementary schools. Through this program, we provide students with breakfast, as well as transportation to and from school to help make it easier for parents. Our expert educators facilitate a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities to stimulate students’ minds and bodies after school, and provide homework assistance. Additionally, this program helps to foster character development through activities that encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Convenient Hours and Emphasis on Parent Communication
Our school offers convenient hours to help support families, opening at 6:30 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. daily. We also offer a parent communication app to help keep parents informed of daily activities to ensure their child is happy and thriving at their home away from home! From sleep schedules to new discoveries, our parents are in-the-know of their child’s day-to-day experiences while in our care.
