School Director

Kattye, a mother of three children and proud grandmother to seven, finds joy in the warmth her family brings each day. She is a graduate of Bishop State Community College and the University of South Alabama, holding an AA in Elementary Education and a BS in Early Childhood Education. With an impressive 27 years in child care, Kattye has transitioned from teaching in the classroom to roles such as assistant director, director, and program director.

Her passion lies in being an advocate for children who are unable to speak for themselves. Known for her hard work, dedication, and creativity, Kattye, along with her experienced and wonderful staff, looks forward to making Big Blue Marble Academy the best child care in Daphne, AL. Her wealth of experience and commitment to children make her a valuable asset to our team.
