At Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA), we are dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education that helps shape the bright futures of young learners. As part of this mission, we are excited to be entering into the great state of Virginia with our new Colony Crossing location, previously known as The Cedarhouse School, in Midlothian.

BBMA is excited to continue strengthening the school’s wonderful reputation for excellence in early childhood education by focusing on play-based learning and providing children with the foundation they need to thrive. As with each of our acquisitions, BBMA is honored to be
entrusted with maintaining the school’s high standards.

You can find our new BBMA location at 2301 Colony Crossing Pl, where we are currently enrolling Midlothian’s young learners, fostering curiosity and building strong foundations for young minds. We are excited to be a part of this community and hope to grow alongside the
families we will serve.

This commitment to growth supports not only academic achievement but also the development of well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact in the world.

Family Support and Communication

We recognize that family involvement is crucial to a child's development. Through our parent communication tools and apps, families will have greater visibility into their child’s daily experiences, progress and milestones. Whether it’s through shared updates, photos, or milestone reports, BBMA strives to ensure that every family feels connected and supported. To accommodate the busy schedules of our working parents, we offer flexible hours, opening at 6:30 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. every day.

We understand that transitions can feel overwhelming and bring up many questions for families, whether you’re joining us at one of our newly acquired centers or are already part of the BBMA family. We’re excited to welcome you and your child into our community and are here to support you every step of the way.
